Trainee Emergency Care Attendant
About the Role
As a Trainee Emergency Care Attendant at St John Ambulance, you will learn to provide a high level of care, compassion and professionalism while responding to emergency and non-emergency situations. During your training, you will learn all aspects of being a professional and effective Ambulance Crew member. Once your training is complete, you will be responsible for assessing, transporting and attending to patients whilst ensuring they receive high quality care.

This role is to start the week beginning 6th January 2020 and you must be available to attend the training that week.
You must have a minimum of two years driving experience, and hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points. Any applicants must have C1 or be working towards C1 on their licence.
You will be working with patients who could be vulnerable or experiencing trauma, so you must be compassionate and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as, being able to work as part of a team.
Due to the nature of this role, if successful, you will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.
