Philanthropy Manager

About the Role

It’s a really exciting time to join our Fundraising team, we have new senior leadership who are driving an ambitious strategy to increase fundraising revenue exponentially and we are growing the team significantly…there has never been a better time to develop your fundraising career at St John Ambulance.

In this newly created and specialist role, you will be a key member of a recently established and growing Philanthropy & Special events team. You will work closely with our Head of Philanthropy & Special Events, to work with influential philanthropists and stakeholders to develop and implement our Philanthropy strategy, to raise £4 million per annum by 2023.

You will develop and lead a high performing philanthropy function to focus on bespoke and effective donor management, to drive cultivation, inspiring meaningful engagement with our donors.

About You

You will be a passionate fundraising professional with significant major donor management experience, having personally secured five figure gifts and above. You will need to have proven ability and passion for providing inspiring and bespoke stewardship and in cultivating new donor relationships.

You will have a strategic head and the ability to identify and bring to fruition ideas, tools and processes in order for the organisation to build and retain relationships with a growing portfolio of philanthropists, for the long term.
