Recovery position - resources and lesson plans

This first aid module for students is about the recovery position. This is a first aid technique that is used for unresponsive and breathing casualties that keeps their airway open and allows them to breathe.

Lesson overview – recovery position

This teaching resource will help students to know when a casualty needs to be put into the recovery position, and they will also learn how to put a casualty into the recovery position.

The lesson is designed for students who are already familiar with the primary survey.
