These lesson plans can be delivered by teachers, higher-level teaching assistants, school nurses and youth leaders who have a current first aid qualification. The qualification must cover all of the topics included in this course.
If you need any additional first aid support to answer your students’ questions, all the information in the lessons is taken from the current edition of the First Aid Manual.
All our resources are suitable for 7-16-year-olds.
If you’ve completed one of our tailored courses with your students we have certificates you can issue to them. All you need to do is email us at schoolsteam@sja.org.uk with the name of the course you’ve taught, the name of your school or organisation, and the number of young people who have completed it. We’ll email you back with a certificate which you can print and give out.
