About the Role
We are looking for a high-level Executive Assistant to support our Director of Priory & International Affairs. You will provide comprehensive support that enables them to achieve their objectives.
You will operate at a senior level, with little direction, which will require intelligent decision-making. You will coordinate projects, prepare and edit documents, manage internal and external events, and ensure that actions from meetings have been completed. You will also ensure that the people you support are fully prepared for internal and external meetings.
Working as part of an Executive Support team you will provide support and cover as well as contributing across a range of team activities.
You will have been in a similar role supporting senior executives, interacting effectively with key stakeholders, internally and externally. You must be able to navigate the organisation and build positive relationships whilst delivering against your objectives.
You will be used to dealing with conflicting priorities and being highly organised. You will be able to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally and handle confidential matters with discretion.
Experience of working within a Charity or not for profit organisation would be an advantage.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
