Trusts & Statutory Officer
About the Role
In this important role, as part of the Fundraising team, you will assist in developing a comprehensive rolling programme of targeted and specific trust applications in order to raise funds, in the form of significant grants, from charitable trusts, foundations and institutional bodies. You will work with colleagues to identify suitable projects which will engage and inspire your portfolio of funders to support our work, using your expertise you will develop them into viable, and strategically aligned, projects.
You will be joining a growing fundraising directorate with big ambitions to grow income and be best in class. We want to find people who can grow with us.
To be successful in this role you should have at least one years’ experience in trust fundraising and a track record of success soliciting grants and gifts from trusts and foundations.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
Over the next decade, we have bold ambitions to help transform out-of-hospital care, having a positive impact on the people we treat, the communities we serve, and our own people.
