Welcome to Badgers
Anyone aged 7-10 years old can join a Badger Sett - after
school clubs which operate throughout England. At Badgers it's all
about fun, adventure and learning first aid.
Activities for children
Badgers take part in fun activities for different subjects,
earning badges and certificates for each one.
Badgers can:
- • Learn first aid
- • Learn how to be active citizens
- • Do arts and crafts
- • Take part in team games
- • Develop leadership skills, and much more!

Badger programme
What do Badgers do?
Badgers usually meet once a week for around 1 hour 30 minutes.
They take part in a lively programme of different activities,
working towards their Super Badger Award.
Badgers can choose from a range of 13 different subjects to help
complete their award, such as Caring Badger, Badger First Aider and
ECO Badger.

instead?
St John Ambulance charges an annual subscription to
cover the costs of supporting its young people. These include,
among other things, leader training, equipment, certificates and
badges. Financial assistance is also available.
