The Collections Inventory Assistant will play a vital role in improving the care, documentation and accessibility of the Museum’s rich and varied collections. Under the guidance of the Curator, you will carry out a meticulous inventory of objects displayed and stored at St John’s Gate in Clerkenwell, London. This is a full-time 12 month fixed-term position.

About you:
- Experience of working in museums, historic buildings or other cultural venues
- Understanding of preventative collections care in museum collections
- Ability to follow processes and procedures with care and precision
About the Role:
- Undertake an inventory of the collections both on display and in store
- Examine and document the condition of each object
- Take digital record photographs of objects and store and label images accurately
- Attend regular meetings with the wider Museum team and provide progress reports
