We are seeking a Fleet Administrator to join our team on a fixed term 6 month contract. The Fleet Administrator is responsible for ensuring all vehicles comply with current legislation and in accordance with St John Ambulance’s fleet policy to maximise vehicle utilisation and availability. This is a busy role where you will be required to supervise the scheduling of all mechanical servicing ensuring the fleet is fit for purpose and ensure all defected vehicles and equipment are repaired in line with SJA policies and procedures.

About You:

  • Have significant experience of working within an administrative role and possess strong organisational ability
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
  • IT literacy with the ability to use MS Office to an intermediate level
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work to service level agreements

 

About The Role:

  • To work as part of the Fleet Team and provide support to the National Compliance Manager, supporting the Regional Managers and Coordinators as required.
  • Liaise and communicate with all 3rd party Suppliers, repair agents and maintenance providers with regard to all vehicle maintenance.
  • Be responsible for the legal and compliance of the fleet scheduling all Pre Planned Maintenance which covers MOT’s, annual and mileage services, safety inspections, winch tests, Air Con and Heater Servicing, electrical testing, fire extinguisher services, scheduled cleans and Road Fund Licence.
  • Be responsible for updating the Fleet Management System including all vehicle/s documentation and related paperwork.
  • Be responsible for initial processing, recording and appropriate distribution of all Notices of Intended Prosecutions, Penalty Charge Notices and supply appropriate vehicle tracking information.
