St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response, Falls response, Night Time Economy and Homelessness outreach) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, NHS Cadets and Young Responders programmes). There is also a buoyant social enterprise network which delivers first aid training and supplies medical consumables to businesses and consumers.
Job Summary
The Supplies Sales Team are vital to developing new opportunities and growth throughout SJA. This new crucial role will be responsible for identifying new high value business opportunities and prospects within Supplies.
Self motivated and driven to succeed, you will be responsible for the conversion of self-generated leads, through to prospect and onboarding, increasing St John market share and revenue across the Supplies Team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you need to be Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C / 4) including Maths & English, minimum 5, Experience in successfully achieving new business targets in a B2B environment, Experience in successfully achieving new business targets in a B2B environment and ability to prioritise busy workload, working to tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
About the Role
- Work to the new business sales strategy across key business areas for Supplies, to increase customer base, market share, revenue and margin.
- Work to established sales flows, sales processes and feed into and follow bespoke strategies for different industry sectors relevant to the business areas.
- Achieve activity and revenue targets set and demonstrate and embody the right behaviours to achieve the best results.
- Take consultative sales approach with prospects, aligning requirements to St John offerings and services.
- Utilise the marketing and sales materials and support to deliver the best results and provide a professional image to prospective customers.
