St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response, Falls response, Night Time Economy and Homelessness outreach) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, NHS Cadets and Young Responders programmes). There is also a buoyant social enterprise network which delivers first aid training and supplies medical consumables to businesses and consumers.
Job Summary
The EP&BC Team Coordinator is responsible for supporting the EP&BC team enabling the organisation to be resilient and be in a constant state of readiness to deliver incident response and continuous services. They will coordinate a busy calendar and mailbox linked to our input into, and feedback from, external resilience forums, exercises and incidents as well as supporting the EP&BC team through On-Call guidance, shared learning, and sharing situational briefings around disruptive events
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Experience of coordination within a busy office-based team that supports a delivery operation
- Experience of successfully managing a range of enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
- High levels of IT literacy including MS Office and a relevant planning system as well as accurate data input
About the Role
- Management of the National EPRR inbox & calendar.
- Coordination of EP&BC internal and external communication including dissemination of EPPR related alerts e.g. weather and security alerts.
- Have financial oversight and report to the EP & BC Manager on cost analysis, income & expenditure, budgets and cost control.
- Ensure that all EP&BC related policies, procedures and plans are published, and updated as per the schedule including resilience backups and printouts.
- Manage the coordination of the ERRP On-Call rotas across the organisation and be responsible for the EPRR element of the On-Call guidance and training.
