About the Role
This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
As Marketing Coordinator (Events & conferences) at St John Ambulance, you will work closely with, and support the Marketing Manager in developing, planning and delivering conferences and events.
You will be responsible for project managing conferences and events from conception through to delivery.
You will support the achievement of annual sales and profit targets by delivering conferences developed with the Marketing Manager. You will also be responsible for sourcing and booking venues, briefing and overseeing event contractors and suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of conferences experience.
As this is an important role in ensuring ROI and help us achieve our charitable goals, you will be a great communicator who is passionate about delivering conferences and will show a keen eye for detail.
You will have experience in project managing and delivering multiple events and managing event suppliers and contractors. You must also be able to use event management platforms.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
